Boss Grand Appearance!

haaa...since i have time todae, thought i will blog abt this....boss came todae to school....the last time i saw her was when she came to get something from my sch and it was like more than one mth ago.....technically speaking, she is suppose to come by my centre at least two times a week...but she always fail to do so....so was actually very surprised that she agreed to join us for lunch todae....honestly i think aunty just invited her out for formality sake...no one really expected her to really turn up for lunch...the situation at lunch time was really weird...kind of awkward coz no one wants to sit beside her...hooo...was quite funny...then basically we just ate very quietly....all commented on the food...tried not to make empty small talk...haa...true enough after lunch, boss called me into the office for a meeting....wanted to discussed abt "impt operational issues"..aka aunty's case.....in the end, she still insisted on having her own way....puts me in a spot because the accountant on the other hand wants to cut costs n here boss wants to incur cost...thought the most pressing issue for us is enrolment...how to increase enrolment..turns out that my weird boss actually says our centre is doing fine....if there is an increase in enrolment then it is an "added bonus"...oh my god...dun know what kind of business they are doing...in fact told me not to worry abt the lack of enrolment....sigh...with this kind of attitude, how to improve?...and she told me that she thinks i am coping well with my role..that is why she does not need to come down often.....when i complained to her abt the lack of staff for student care and basically my staffing issues, she told me to throw my teaching duties to the other teachers so that i can concentrate on my office work...basically told me to plan in a way where i am not impt in the teaching dept so that i can come out anytime...well, it is easier said than done....she shd know that the teachers here are too slack and cant handle too many children in one class....even if just five chdn, these five chdn can be running ard the whole sch....and when she asked for feedback abt the teachers, i told her honestly that i have to hound the teachers fr things....she only agreed with me that the teachers here are like that but added on if it is not a grave issue, then let it pass....i was like...wtf!!!....if this is the mentality of the boss, it is no wonder that the centre is like that...so slack.....no worries...sigh....like what mx says, i thought coming to this place i can look up and learn from boss...but instead i learn abt boss and not learn from her....
