My first week at school

it is already friday...thank god for friday....just finish my first week of school...it is been tiring going back to work and back to the routine of teaching the children...starting work at this new place has been pretty trying...like i mentioned before, i was given a dose of the politics that is present in this new place....boss also came in on wed and told me very honestly that this place has problems....nice right? to hear from the horse's mouth....after hearing this from the boss, i told myself, i am not going to get involved...just sit on the fence and do my own things...unfortunately things are not as simple as it seems and true enough, i got my first taste of being dragged down on thurs....sigh....this really confirms that no place is perfect....in every sch, there will be problems.....i guess i will have to try my best to stay afloat and not get involved where is possible....still trying to find my place in sch...really not used to their style of working....my only achievement this week is the children....just after one week they seem to be responding well to me....which is a very good sign considering they did not like the previous teacher.....i hope i will be able to settle down quickly and maybe not be too harsh on myself.....
