A quiet Teacher's Day

This is probably the quietest teacher's day in all my teaching years..usually every yr, there will be a teacher's day party in school with all the kids or school will be closed that day but this yr, being in an enrichment school, everything is different...there was no party and lessons went on as usual....the only celebrations i had was with the rest of the teachers, we went out for a meal at Marriott's....kind of boring honestly...and the kids were extra naughty too....what a teacher's day....i spent it scolding them half of the time...presents were also fewer this yr coz i have fewer kids in my class this yr....pathetic...haaa..usually after teacher's day, i would have to crack my head and think what to do with all the presents...this yr, i ate my presents up (coz they are chocolates and biscuits) and that is it....sian...anyway it is september already...tomorrow is my daddy's bd...got a surprise for him planned...hopefully it will turn out well...haaa.....i am not very optimistic though....my plan usually falls through....keeping fingers crossed..
