what a great feeling!

the deepavali holidays are finally..man i have been waiting for ages for a public holiday....and this holiday is really well spent..i caught up on sleep....on movies...on shopping...on eating etc...it was definitely a good rest for me...and some away time from the mundane working life...anyway on sat, i woke up to the best news ever from school: my school has been awarded with the award 'the best of the best holistic learning environment'....a few mths back this parenting magazine from singapore approach my boss to say that we were nominated for the best of the best awards...apparently this parenting magazine will give out awards to school yearly..it is something cleo beauty awards where ppl will vote for their favorite beauty product..this nomination came as a real surprise as we are still a very new centre..in fact come next jan then our school will be one yr old..it was a pleasant surprise and we were saying being nominated was already good enough for us....the editor of the magazine and interviewed my boss and interviewed my boss....then a few weeks later, some online parent forum also did a review of the school and wrote a pretty good review of the centre...dun sure if all these are linked but on sat itself, boss emailed everyone that we won the award...even though my bosses shd be the happiest ppl on earth but strangely i feel just as proud of my school..perhaps it is because i played a key role in setting up this school from the writing of the curriculum to the setting up the environment to the buying of materials...really happy with the results we have achieved despite being so new...to reward all the staff, my boss is planning for an all expenses paid trip to universal studios....even family members are included!!...i am so excited...i always wanted to go universal studios but the entrance fees is so expensive...good now i dun have to pay a cent...i cant wait to see the magazine when it is out coz my face is in it..heee..i am famous now...haaa....and i hope boss will give us fat bonuses at the end of the yr..praying hard now
