ssc!..winner!

yeah..the title sums it all...ssc the winner...the story is as follows....

serena did opening this morning and sarah's mum actually passed her a message saying that because sarah has been ill recently, she wanted sarah to have porridge for lunch instead of spaghetti...message was passed to auntie and she agreed to cook a portion of porridge just for sarah....it has been agreed previously that sarah would join the k1s for lunch everyday..however due to the pre nursery small class size todae, li dan and i decided to let sarah stay on in our class to have lunch....i went to inform serena abt this and she was agreeable.....however, she forgot to inform me that sarah was to have porridge instead for lunch...so everything went on as per normal and sarah had spaghetti for lunch.....it was until edward came that i had to go to the kitchen to get another serving of lunch for edward...that was when auntie informed me that sarah was supposed to have porridge ...anyway to cut a long story short, i thought forget it, sarah has already eaten and there is nothing much we can do abt it except to call and inform her parents....anyway, auntie and i went upstairs to confirm with serena abt the eating of porridge....immediately, serena got defensive and kept saying that since she thought sarah was going to have lunch with her everyday, she totally forgot abt informing us abt the porridge..however she kept saying that it was not her fault..in fact, she came into the pre n class to ask me and li dan why we gave spaghetti to sarah....both of us actually explained calmly to her that since we were not informed that sarah was to have any special food, we served her the usual lunch...throughout this exchange, serena kept saying it seems to be her fault now , which is obviously true since she forgot to convey the message.....honestly, i was kind of fuming inside plus her attitude wasn't very good when she was talking to me but i kept my cool....in the end, after a while i went back to serena and told her that this was what i was to going to do..i would call up sarah's mum to apologise for overlooking this matter...at the same time, i asked serena to also apologise to the mother for forgetting to pass the message.....serena then asked me if i was going to tell the mum that she forgot to pass the message..i told her i had to because it was the truth...she then commented that the whole thing now seems to be her fault...sorry abt this, but i could not take it anymore and told her nicely that honestly it was her fault for not passing the message .However, this is not the time to point fingers at who is right or wrong but to look for solutions to solve this problem...i also told her that we are all human beings and it is possible to forget sometimes when we are busy....serena commented that like that to be safe, sarah will eat with the pre n class in the future...i told her it is not possible because we had already informed sarah's mum abt this eating arrangement and she was very happy with it because it allows sarah to interact with other children...i told her in the end that this is just a small matter..just apologise to the parents and let it pass...thank goodness, when i spoke to sarah's mum abt this, she was very nice and said it was ok...phew! long story right?guess being a cm is really no easy at times.....honestly i was really frustrated with serena..not because she forgot to pass the message but because she could not even admit that it was her mistake..if she had just come back and say "shit...sorry i forgot to tell u sarah cannot eat spaghetti"..at least it would have been better...it is actually a very small matter....quite silly to be arguing abt this and not finding ways to solve the problem...even if sarah's mum were to scream at me over the phone for not serving the right food, i dun have the right to be angry as it is really the school's fault for overlooking this matter...oh well...another learning experience for me todae...realised that what i am feeling inside (i am screaming!) and what comes out of my mouth can be very different (spoke to her very nicely and calmly)..haaa..what a real fake-ko i am......if i had my way, i will thrust a 2 m long sword into her ever so weak heart..ha ha....perhaps it will improve her blood circulation and she wont take mc any longer...oh well....haaa...now i am writing abt this, i am actually laughing....how stupid this whole thing is....
